"My original, vegan Peanut Butter Classic cookies were created alongside the Cowboy Cookies before Liz Lovely Cookies was in business. So, naturally, when I released Gluten Free cookies I wanted this to be part of the collection. The only problem was that the gluten free ingredients and the peanut butter were not playing nice together.
"One day Dan walked into the bakery and saw the cookie cutting machine lurching and grunting and just dripping with peanut oil. That was all he needed to see, 'Shut it down! We are discontinuing this flavor until we can make it without killing the cookie machine!''

But since Peanut Butter is Dan's favorite flavor, he forwarded me every single customer request for gluten free peanut butter cookies until I made time to figure it out. Fortunately, I figured it out and we're happily baking them again for our fans, because I think the next email was going to have divorce papers attached to it!"
