What’s your favorite part about working at Liz Lovely?

There are so many favorite parts – working on a team that I believe in, learn from, and strive to be better for is truly a gift and I’m extremely thankful for all of them. I also love the growth within the company, my job has been able to change, evolve and grow. There’s always something new around the corner.

What my typical work day is like:

It's never very typical, but I'd say i'm mostly focusing on what to do with the cookies once they are made.  Sales, metrics, fulfillment and order flow, collecting money, and helping Liz with big picture ideas, and special projects our company comes across.

Why Vermont?

I grew up here, then couldn’t WAIT to move away for college…sure enough right after college I came back. My parents and my brother live here, my husband is from here – there’s no place like the Mad River Valley in Vermont, and I can’t imagine raising my children anywhere else. It’s now a part of me.

What’s fun?

My family. I’m very close with my parents and my in laws. We have dinner and drink parties often. My husband and I just had our first child in June (2015), Max. He's our everything.  I’m also VERY much obsessed with my 2 rescue hound dogs and my husband and I tend to include them in everything we do. Camping, hiking, snowmobiling, photography, and outdoor get togethers. I love all types of games as well, board games, lawn games, drinking games…all fun to me!

What’s your favorite part about working at Liz Lovely?

The people!  The lovely ladies I work with are powerful, inspiring women.  I am always learning from them.  We also have awesome customers who are enthusiastic and supportive of our brand and mission.

What my typical work day is like:

I can't say I ever have a "typical" day -  that's my other favorite part about working for Liz Lovely.  Each day always brings something new and unexpected.  I'm the main point of contact for our Wholesale customers, so I process Wholesale orders and check in with these customers periodically.  I also provide Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable support in the office along with other administrative tasks.  I'm now learning to order ingredients and schedule when products are produced.  I really love the variety in my daily tasks and the new opportunities that arise as Liz Lovely continues to grow.

Why Vermont?

I grew up in Southern VT and headed north to Burlington for college. I love the scenery, the culture, the food and the people too much to live anywhere else.

What’s fun?

Adventuring - running in the woods, hiking the mountains, playing with my dog, driving the beautiful dirt roads around the state.  I also love to cook and spend most of my free time in my kitchen.
